Disconnecting active sessions

Instance support administrators can forcibly end a user’s active session.

When to use

• A user is locked out and their session needs to be cleared.
• A session appears stuck or the user cannot log out normally.
• Concurrency limits need to be freed up immediately.

Effect

Forcibly ending a session logs the user out immediately. They will be required to sign in again. This operation is recorded in the audit log.
