Signing in and session behavior
Signing in
- Navigate to the platform's login URL. The Login page is displayed.
- Enter your Email address and Password in the respective fields.
- Click Login.
- If your credentials are valid and your account is active, you are directed to the Home page.
What to expect
- If you enter an incorrect email or password, an error message is displayed. After 5 consecutive failed attempts, your account is locked for 2 minutes. You must wait before trying again.
- If your password has expired (passwords expire every 90 days), you are prompted to reset your password before you can continue.
- If your account has not yet been activated (for example, you just registered), sign-in is not possible. Check your email for an activation link.
Single-session policy
Pulse Connect enforces a single active session per user. You may only be signed in from one browser or device at a time.
- If you sign in on the same browser or device where you already have an active session, the previous session is automatically replaced.
- If you attempt to sign in from a second browser or device while already signed in elsewhere, the system will reject the second login with a message indicating that you are already logged in from another device. To resolve this, sign out from your current session first, or wait for the existing session to expire.
Note
Sessions expire automatically after a period of inactivity.
Signing out
Click your name or the sign-out option in the navigation area to end your session. After signing out, you are returned to the Login page.
