Removing access safely
Revoking access to specific views
To revoke a user's access to a specific area without deactivating their entire account:
- Identify which groups grant access to the views you want to remove.
- Remove the user from those groups. See Assigning users to groups.
Fully removing platform access
To fully remove a user's access to the platform, choose one of the following options:
- Deactivate the user — Toggle Active to off in the Edit User panel. This prevents login while preserving the account and all user data.
- Delete the user — Click Delete in the Edit User panel and confirm. This permanently removes the account.
Tip
Deactivation is reversible. Use it when temporary revocation is needed. Use deletion only when the account should be permanently removed.
