Who each persona is
Pulse Connect recognizes four distinct user roles. Each role unlocks a specific set of capabilities. A single user account may hold more than one role simultaneously.
| Role | Who they are |
|---|---|
| User | An end user of the platform. Can search, browse, view details, and manage their own Watchlist. |
| Admin | Manages the account configuration, including other users, connectors, endpoints, and audit logs. |
| Designer | Designs and configures the views (search pages and detail pages) that users see. |
| Embed Only | A restricted end user whose access is limited to views embedded in other applications. Requires an account addon to be enabled. Cannot access the platform directly. |
Note
Admin and Designer are classified as "advanced" users for session concurrency purposes. User and Embed Only are classified as "basic" users.
