Navigating between related records
The platform supports cross-view navigation that lets you move from one record to a related record in a different view.
From a search page
A column value that is a link will navigate you to a Detail Page, carrying the record's identifier automatically.
From a detail page
Certain field values within panels may be displayed as links. Clicking them navigates to another view (either a search or a detail page) that shows related records.
From a list panel
Within a Detail Page, a List Panel may show each row with navigable lines or a navigation icon. Clicking these navigates to a related record or view.
Note
Navigation parameters (the identifier values passed between pages) are managed automatically. You do not need to enter any identifiers manually when following a navigation link.
