Assigning roles
Roles are assigned from the user's edit panel. Each role is represented as a checkbox. Multiple roles can be assigned to the same user.
| Role | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full administrative access: manage users, connectors, endpoints, and audit logs. |
| User | Access to search and detail views according to group membership. Watchlist access. |
| Designer | Create and edit views and manage groups. |
| Embed Only | Access limited to embedded (iframe) views only. Requires account addon. |
Important
All users need at least the User role to browse views and use the Watchlist. Admins and Designers typically also hold the User role.
